how to split audio between speakers and headphones

Two devices I can easily change between be changing default device by pressing one of my shortcuts.īut then again, this is just the easy fix we will have to go with for now, but we really want to use all the devices on the soundcard instead. Now I have unplugged the front panel connector from the soundcard and put it in the motherboard. I just press one of the shortcuts on the taskbar like this: I use a really great mod that can change between headset and desktop speakers/mic really fast called 'nircmd'. Especially because of the beamforming mic that is made for this specific soundcard. But we want to use the great soundcard for both. So the easy fix would just be to use my headset in the soundcard and the beamforming mic and my speakers in the motherboard, like you said. Now with this Soundblaster Z card only 1 device show, so I can't use both my headset mic and beamforming mic if I want to change between them like you can with motherboard driver and inout/connectors. This will make two devices show in the Playback and Recording devices tab. Currently the SoundBlaster Z CP has a switch to go from Speakers to Headphones, but nothing that lets me separate the audio like you can do with Realtek audio drivers, unless I'm blind and don't see it. I would more or less be putting the same cables into the card, there just wouldn't be as many hooked up. It does come out to 3 output cables, but I still don't see how a splitter will help my issue.
